Our Head Coach

G1 Martial Arts is led by Coach Larry Chasteen, a lifelong martial artist with over 40 years of experience. He holds advanced ranks including:

• 5th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do

• 2nd Dan Black Belt in Krav Maga

• Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Coach Larry has trained with some of the world’s top martial artists — including Carlos Machado, Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, and Ajarn Luigi Cuellar. He also continues to sharpen his craft by training in Thailand, the home of Muay Thai, and by spending extensive time with his professor, Greg Hamilton, in Dallas, Texas, furthering his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey.

His passion for teaching and his dedication to students ensure that everyone who trains at G1 Martial Arts receives the highest quality instruction and personal guidance.
