Do I need martial arts experience to attend a class?
No. Beginners are welcome. A coach or experienced student will help you learn the fundamentals and become comfortable with the class.
Will I have to start over if I have trained before?
No. Your previous experience and rank will be recognized. Our coaches will help determine the right place for you in the program.
Can martial arts help me improve my fitness or lose weight?
Yes. Consistent training can improve strength, endurance, coordination, flexibility, and overall fitness while supporting healthy weight-management goals.
Do you sell uniforms and training equipment?
Yes. G1 sells the uniforms and protective gear students need to begin training.
How are monthly payments processed?
Monthly tuition is paid by credit or debit card. Cash payments are not currently accepted.
What ages can train at G1 Martial Arts?
Our youth programs begin at approximately six years old. We also offer programs for teens and adults.
Do I have to spar or roll?
No. Sparring and rolling are not required. Students train for different reasons, and no one is forced to spar. New students also complete foundational classes before participating in live sparring or rolling.
What programs do you offer?
We offer Kids Muay Thai, Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, adult Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, MMA, and practical self-defense training.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. The current membership structure is month-to-month and requires 30 days’ notice for cancellation.
